This role includes developing and maintaining technical documentation and supporting Systems Administration (SA) and GOTS products. The ideal candidate is adaptable, willing to learn, and effective in a small, mission-focused team that regularly collaborates with users, customers, and partner teams.Primary ResponsibilitiesSupport all phases of the system engineering lifecycle from concept through sustainmentDevelop and maintain technical documentation and drawing packagesInstall, configure, and manage Linux-based systems (RedHat/CentOS/Rocky)Support and maintain GOTS software solutionsConfigure and manage STE/STN systems in connected and disconnected environmentsPerform system testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolutionCollaborate with cross-functional teams, users, and customers to support mission needsBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree in a technical field with 6 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 4 years, or PhD with 2 years, or no degree with 10 years of relevant experienceStrong Systems Administration (SA) experienceStrong Linux experience, including installation, configuration, and managementExperience with authentication/authorization (FreeIPA/Active Directory)Experience with STE/STN environmentsExperience installing and maintaining GOTS softwareStrong testing and troubleshooting skills, including scripting (Bash/Python)Clearance Required: Must have an active TS/SCI with PolygraphPreferred QualificationsFamiliarity with shared storage solutionsExperience with virtualization and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)Data flow experienceFamiliarity with Ansible or SALTExperience with Helm charts, YAML, or DevOps practicesIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
