Systems EngineerMarkon is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the design, integration, testing, and deployment of data center solutions for satellite-based systems in support of the Fort Meade customer. This role works across hardware, software, networking, and RF components, with a focus on communication and signal processing systems. The position supports requirements analysis, system design, integration testing, troubleshooting, and technical documentation in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.ResponsibilitiesDesign, integrate, test, and deploy data center solutions for satellite-based systemsSupport end-to-end systems engineering activities across hardware, software, networking, and RF componentsConduct requirements analysis and support system design documentationPerform integration testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolutionSupport communication and signal processing system development and deploymentMaintain technical documentation, test plans, procedures, and system artifactsCollaborate with engineering, operations, and mission teams to ensure system performance and reliabilityQualificationsRequirements:Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph with the customerBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field required7+ years of relevant systems engineering experience requiredExperience with Linux and Windows environments requiredExperience with FORNSAT systems requiredEnd-to-end systems engineering experience requiredExperience supporting satellite-based systems, communication systems, or signal processing environmentsExperience working across hardware, software, networking, and RF componentsStrong troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration skillsSalary RangeUSD $120,000.00 - USD $140,000.00 /Yr.
