Job Description
nSOSi is seeking an Intermediate Systems Engineer to support production operations, software deployments, and enterprise application sustainment for a large federal information system.
nThe Intermediate Systems Engineer will support day-to-day production operations, software releases, system administration, configuration management, and operational troubleshooting activities.
nResponsibilities

- Support production operations. n
- Assist with software deployments and release activities. n
- Monitor production environments and troubleshoot operational issues. n
- Support configuration management and documentation. n
- Coordinate with software engineers and customer stakeholders to resolve production issues. n
- Support testing and implementation activities. n
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- n
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. n
- 5+ years supporting enterprise IT systems. n
- Experience supporting production environments. n
- Experience supporting software implementation activities. n
- Technical skills in IBM z/OS, JCL, Oracle, Cognos, Broadcom Endevor, Configuration Management n
Preferred:

- COBOL n
- IDMS n
- Enterprise financial systems n
- ERP or payroll applications n

- Normal office conditions with potential to perform duties in deployed locations n
- Remote or Hybrid work model n
- Core hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 0600 – 1700. n
- May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs n
