Systems Engineer III

Roles & Responsibilities

• Analyze customer needs, business requirements, and system-level requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications.
• Develop, review, maintain, and manage system requirements throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Ensure requirements traceability from customer needs through system design, implementation, verification, and validation.
• Collaborate with requirements leads, software developers, systems engineers, and validation teams to ensure alignment with product requirements.
• Develop verification and validation strategies, test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Execute and coordinate system-level testing, requirements verification, and product validation activities.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate issue resolution with engineering teams.
• Document test execution results, verification evidence, validation reports, and engineering deliverables.
• Ensure the final product meets defined functional, technical, performance, and quality requirements.
• Work closely with UI/UX teams to validate user requirements and product functionality.
• Coordinate with internal customers and stakeholders to clarify requirements and address product-related concerns.
• Participate in design reviews, requirements reviews, technical discussions, and product lifecycle activities.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams to drive product quality and successful delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in Systems Engineering and product development lifecycle activities.
• Hands-on experience in requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and management.
• Understanding of system requirements, functional specifications, and technical requirements.
• Experience in Verification & Validation (V&V), system testing, and requirements traceability.
• Ability to develop test strategies, test plans, test cases, and validation procedures.
• Experience analyzing test results, identifying defects, and documenting verification evidence.
• Strong understanding of system-level integration and product quality processes.
• Experience collaborating with software development, systems engineering, and validation teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and global engineering teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in complex product engineering environments.
• Exposure to Agile and traditional product development methodologies.
• Familiarity with requirements management and test management tools.
• Experience with UI/UX requirements validation and system integration testing.
• Knowledge of engineering quality standards and product verification processes.
