Raytheon is seeking a talented and motivated Systems Engineer II to join our team within the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) Discipline, supporting the LTAMDS and GhostEye Radars. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across the full lifecycle of the product, from concept to deployment.Every day will bring new challenges, requiring you to collaborate across disciplines to troubleshoot issues, perform data analysis, and implement solutions. Your contributions will directly impact the success of mission-critical defense systems, and you'll have a hands-on role in ensuring the entire system functions seamlessly.What You Will Do:Develop requirements and algorithms, concepts of operations, and define system interfaces.Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation in both simulated and real-world environments.Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging.Collaborate across functions to drive performance improvements and resolve system issues.Develop and execute models to predict system performance and support verification and validation.Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating their functionality and impact.Work with and lead a multi-disciplinary team to achieve seamless integration and system functionality.Develop integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements and effectively communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.Conduct statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data to ensure optimal system performance and verify requirements.Present technical findings and solutions to leadership and customers.Travel as needed (up to 20%) to support mission execution at various locations including local RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations.This role is based out of Tewksbury MAQualifications You Must Have:A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.Experience with model-based engineering.Qualifications We Prefer:Experience in developing and managing requirements.Experience developing both scripts and functions with MATLAB to analyze large data sets.Experience with C++, Python, or similar.Experience generating technical documentation, such as test plans, procedures, or technical reports.Experience working in an integration lab, test facility, or in the field, supporting integration and/or verification.Experience evaluating systems using simulated environments.Experience interfacing with internal and external customers.What We OfferOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
