Systems Engineer ILocation: Alexandria, VA or Colorado Springs, COClearance: TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraphJob Duties:Analyze user requirements, CONOPS, and system architectures to develop requirements and support system design, development, integration, and implementation across the lifecycleContribute to system architecture, engineering documentation, and planning (e.g., SEMP, integration and test plans), including feasibility studies and trade analysesSupport system integration, testing, interface definition, and end-to-end performance analysis, including identification and resolution of hardware/software issuesCollaborate with government stakeholders, program teams, and senior engineers to address technical challenges and ensure quality, accuracy, and integrity of deliverablesSupport system lifecycle optimization and continuous improvement, including evaluation and integration of emerging technologiesPerform day-to-day system administration and operations, including:Certificate management and secure communicationsVirtualization support and environment maintenanceApplication installation and configurationTCP/IP, ports, protocols, and firewall managementOperating system administration and system troubleshootingRequirements:Bachelor's degree from an accredited institute in a technical discipline; an additional 4 years of may be substituted in lieu of a degreeMinimum two (2) years of directly related technical experienceExperience with:Systems engineering lifecycle processes (requirements, design, integration, testing)System administration and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, ports, protocols, firewalls)Developing system documentation and engineering artifactsStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skillsFamiliarity with virtualized environments and enterprise systems and exposure to complex, high-reliability systems or secure environments preferredCurrent DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification and Microsoft Certified Professional (or equivalent)Current active TS/SCI clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraphEqual Opportunity Employer/Veteran/Disabled
