The Systems Engineer will provide technical support across the system life cycle, supporting requirements development, system integration, and test and evaluation activities for mission-critical systems. This role ensures technical solutions meet operational requirements, performance metrics, and applicable standards in a secure environment.Responsibilities:Develop, analyze, and manage system requirements, including functional, performance, and interface requirementsDefine, track, and assess system performance metrics to ensure compliance with mission and technical objectivesDevelop and maintain system test plans, test procedures, and verification and validation documentationProvide direct support to system integration, planning, and execution of test and evaluation activitiesSupport system design reviews, technical reviews, and milestone decision eventsReview applicable engineering standards, policies, and technical guidance for complianceIdentify process gaps or technical risks and recommend improvements to systems engineering practicesCoordinate with engineering, test, operations, and program management teams in a classified environmentSupport issue identification, troubleshooting, and resolution during integration and testingPerform system modeling and simulation activities to support requirements analysis, architecture development, and performance evaluationDevelop and maintain analytical models to assess system behavior, validate design assumptions, identify risks, and recommend technical solutions that ensure mission and program objectives are metRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Required (alternate applicable degrees accepted with additional years of experience)Active TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph requiredFamiliarity with systems engineering standards and frameworksPreferred Qualifications:2+ years of experience preferredExperience supporting DoD or IC programs
