Essential duties and responsibilities include:Support systems engineering activities across all phases of the DoD acquisition lifecycle (Material Solutions Analysis through Operations & Support)Support requirements development, analysis, traceability, and verification.Conduct system design, integration, and technical analysis activities.Develop and review technical documentation, including specifications, interface documents, and engineering reports.Support technical reviews (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR) and program milestone activities.Collaborate with program management, logistics, test, and cybersecurity teams to ensure integrated system performance.Analyze system performance and recommend design or process improvements.Support risk identification, analysis, and mitigation planning.Provide technical input to acquisition documentation and program decision-making.Education and experience:Undergraduate engineering degree from ABET-accredited institution.Bachelor's degree and twenty (20) years of professional experienceOr Master's degree and fifteen (15) years of professional experienceOR Ph.D. and five (5) years of professional experiencePosition type/expected hours of work:This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.Other position requirements:Proof of U.S. Citizenship is a requirement for this position.Must be able to complete a U.S.
