Systems EngineerAmphenol Military High Speed is seeking a Systems Engineer to work out of its new facility in Endicott, NY.The key responsibilities of this Systems Engineer include, but are not limited to:Develop, analyze, and manage system-level requirements, ensuring traceability from customer needs through design, implementation, and verificationPerform system architecture development, trade studies, and technical analyses to support design decisionsInterface with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, test, manufacturing, quality, and program managementSupport system integration, verification, and validation activities, including test planning and results analysisIdentify technical risks and support mitigation planning and executionParticipate in technical reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, etc.) and customer engagementsEnsure compliance with applicable standards, specifications, and contractual requirementsSupport configuration management, change control, and technical documentation activitiesLocation: Endicott, NYSalary: $62,354 - $85,000The key skills and qualities of a Systems Engineer at Amphenol Military High Speed:Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline3–5 years of systems engineering or related technical experienceExperience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, Jama) preferredFamiliarity with system development lifecycle processes and verification methodologiesStrong systems thinking and problem-solving skillsAbility to decompose complex problems into structured requirements and architecturesClear written and verbal technical communication skillsExperience working in multidisciplinary engineering teamsAttention to detail with an understanding of overall system impactsAbility to balance technical rigor with schedule and cost constraintsAbility to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computerOccasional lifting of up to 25 poundsAbility to access manufacturing or test environments as requiredWith offices in Endicott and Sidney, NY and leveraging manufacturing sites in Sidney, NY, Mesa, AZ, and Nogales, MX, Amphenol Military High Speed specializes in rugged high-speed connectors, cables, assemblies, ethernet switches, media converters, and more in copper, fiber optics, or both.
