The successful candidate will work closely with Systems Engineering aligning the software product testing and verification approach to ensure quality, reliability, and functionality. Advises on the set up and configuration of test environments, including hardware, software, and network configurations to replicate production environments. Leads executing test cases and scenarios to verify functionality, performance, and safety of software systems, identifying and reporting defects, issues, and potential vulnerabilities found during testing processes.
Leads developing and maintaining automated test scriptsPosition ResponsibilitiesApplies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions for Communications Satellites Command and Control architectures, platform development, and network infrastructure.Evaluates customer and operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.Conducts technology trade studies, identifies evaluation criterions, and cost/technology feasibility analysis.Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.Performs analyses for mission performance, affordability, reliability, maintainability, testability, systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, and, product assurance.Develops the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.Resolves cross-functional technical issues.Required SkillsBachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry. and typically, 9 or more years' related work experienceKnowledge of Model-based Systems Engineering, process and tools5+ years of related work experience OR 3+ years of related work experience with a Master's degreeJira and Confluence tool experiencePreferred SkillsBasic Satellite Mission operations experienceRequirements management including definition, allocation, and decomposition of requirementsKnowledge of DOORS and DOORS requirements managementKnowledge of satellite telemetry and command & control architecturesKnowledge of satellite ground stations and satellite ground control softwareEEO Employer LanceSoft is a certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and an equal opportunity employer.
