Systems Application Engineer - Maximo Analyst (Facilities Management)A Place Unlike Any Other, Home Away From Home…The Systems Engineer position is responsible for ensuring the building technologies in use are operating efficiently. This includes but is not limited to installation, debugging, and managing the installed technologies, identifying, monitoring, and providing recommendations for the resolution of a broad-range technical issues. Expertise for this position include but are not limited to Maximo, Oracle, Java, SQL, Niagara, database, networking, archiving, mobile applications, smart metering, version control, web tools and more.
There will be minimal travel for this position.Requirements (Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To)Researching, developing and implementing building technologies such as Maximo, mobile applications, smart metering, SharePoint, networking and a variety of building optimization technologies.Researching, interpreting, and developing building technology standards for FMS within the context of federal, and DOS regulations and guidelines.Meeting with and/or providing building technology information and training to affected organizations and individuals.Perform building analytics including collecting, sampling, monitoring, and interpreting building-related data.Assist in conducting audits, inspections, and investigations of building and facility data.Perform construction and project reviews.Preparing technical reports, letters, and memorandum.Assisting FMS in other building technology-related work deemed necessary.QualificationsActive Public Trust Clearance or the ability to obtain one.BS or advanced degree in preferably in IT, engineering or mechanical engineering related discipline from an accredited university or equivalent experience.10 years directly related experience in technologies used in FMS, or 5 years of direct experience, an advanced degree or applicable certification.
