SAS Viya Analyst 3Austin, TX (Remote within TX)12 months Contract with possibility to extensionNote: This resource will work Dashboard development using SAS Viya. 8 years’ experience facilitating requirements, documenting requirements, creating reports, testing reports and conducting data analysis using SAS Viya.Level Description:8 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.Role and Responsibilities:Understands business objectives and problems, identifies alternative solutions, performs studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives.Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer system.Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer program.Reviews computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system.Additional Job Details and Special Considerations:Contractor will support the Client by creating dashboards and reports using SAS Viya as determined by the business requirements.Contractor will translate business requirements into SAS Viya reports, and work with the program staff to ensure it meets the needs of the customer.Contractor will participate in testing or reports and dashboards to ensure proper function, and work with coworkers to publish and promote the reports as needed.Candidate Skills and Qualifications:Years - Required/Preferred - Experience8 - Required - experience facilitating requirements, documenting requirements, creating reports, testing reports and conducting data analysis using SAS Viya.4 - Preferred - experience working with very large scale data sets in Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Snowflake, or similar.
