Remote Contract General

Systems AnalystOur client is looking for a Systems Analyst for a 6-12 month 100% remote contract.Summary: The Analyst – Systems Analysis position is responsible for providing systems analysis for systems implementation and software development projects. This position will work with the business to provide business requirement solutions using our client's requirements development practices. The Analyst will also develop and manage requirements, create user stories or use cases, write and execute test cases, and provide support for system stakeholders.Responsibilities / Tasks:Collaborate, or lead collaboration, with business stakeholders to identify and document system level requirementsDefine functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteriaAnalyze and manage business and systems process flowsWork comfortably within waterfall or agile project teams to understand how present and future business needs may impact solutionsSupport and contribute to all requirements management best practices and proceduresParticipate in systems testing and UAT activities as neededDemonstrate strong interpersonal skills to help negotiate priorities and resolve conflictsExhibit strong writing skills to communicate information effectively to multiple levelsBecome a subject matter expert in our client's product offeringsRequired Skills and Experience:At least 6 years of SDLC experience in systems analysis activities (e.g., system requirements gathering, writing, etc.).At least 2 years of SDLC experience in Agile methodologies, specifically in systems analysis activities such as breaking down epics into smaller stories, writing user stories, estimating, etc.Experience using database applications and SQL:Demonstrates how to join multiple tablesKnows how to use SQL to retrieve data for analyzing, modeling, and interpreting results into useable recommendationsAbility to tabulate, extract, graph and analyze dataDemonstrates strong analytical/statistical skillsProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, and other software applications as necessaryAbility to solve problems quickly and accuratelyExcellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsAbility to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environmentAbility to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneouslyAbility to work independently and as team memberAbility to collaborate within a teamAbility to work successfully on multiple projects concurrentlyAbility to function as a business analyst as neededAbility to lead and mentor as neededParticipation in/conducting testing as neededKnowledge of data mapping and interface specificationsAbility to create technical specifications and other technical documentationAbility to identify vulnerabilities or areas of improvementAbility to execute to written project planHighly motivated for accuracy and attention to detailsHighly motivated self-starter with the ability to plan work and meet deadlinesEducational Requirements and/or Certifications:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, public administration, computer science, statistics, or a related field.
