Systems AnalystThe Systems Analyst serves as a liaison between business users and technical teams by evaluating business processes, identifying system requirements, and designing technology solutions that improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze existing business applications and system processes.Gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements.Evaluate proposed system enhancements and recommend improvements.Develop functional specifications, workflows, process maps, and technical documentation.Coordinate with developers, testers, and users during system development and implementation.Support software releases, upgrades, migrations, and integrations.Perform application design, coding, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting activities when required.Assist with user acceptance testing and issue resolution.Monitor system performance and recommend optimization strategies.May supervise programmers and programmer/analysts and provide project leadership.Required SkillsBusiness requirements analysisSystems design and documentationProcess improvementApplication testing and quality assuranceProblem-solving and analytical thinkingTechnical writing and communicationPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fieldExperience with enterprise applications and system integrationsKnowledge of SDLC methodologies
