Systems AnalystAt Bosch Building Technologies we have a technology team serving our enterprise clients' physical security and audio video needs. The Systems Analyst will be responsible for delivering and maintaining the IT infrastructure that supports these platforms.Responsibilities:Install, configure, and test server, storage, and network infrastructureInstall, configure, and test virtualization platformsInstall, configure, and test Physical Security and AV management software platformsAnalyze customer requirements and implement system features to meet those needsAnalyze system constraints, performance, and workload requirementsApply configurations to maximize system performanceConfigure and test off the shelf integrations to enable event and control interoperability between subsystemsDevelop and support custom integrations and macros enabling interoperability between subsystems and advanced featuresDevelop scripts, images and other automation techniques to minimize repeat work and improve consistencyMaintain, troubleshoot, and service issues related to the above infrastructurePlan and deliver software and OS upgradesDevelop and maintain Method Of Procedures for system upgrades and implementationsWork directly with other Systems Analysts, Project Managers, Sales, and Engineering resources to help design IT infrastructure supporting Physical Security and Audio Video solutionsSupport sales and design efforts and activities in specifying IT components and integration methodsBe accountable for the installation and integration of systems, ensuring timelines are met and a quality solution is deliveredWork closely and collaborate with our Integrated Systems Technicians to ensure successful system deliveryRespond, support, and be available to Integrated Systems Technicians, while supporting and mentoring their learning and growth in IT infrastructureDevelop and maintain client relationships while building confidence and respect in the organization's abilities throughout the industrySupport the PMO in planning deploymentsPrepare and maintain documentation in an efficient and professional mannerBe organized, enthusiastic, and take direction from PTI leadershipRequired Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years' progressive experience in Information Technology, with proven experience in designing, deploying, and supporting complex systemsPost-secondary degree or diploma from a Technology Institute in computing or electronics, or equivalent training with the armed forces.Ability to pass varying levels of security clearanceClear and concise written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical data and analysis to internal and external stakeholdersSound organizational skills, with the capability to handle multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced and priority-changing environmentAbility to work independently or in a team environment, with strong interpersonal skillsWillingness to mentor and build the technical abilities of the organizationStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsComfortable with remote work and participating in remote teamsExperience with the following technologies is required:Windows Server, Windows 10/11, and SQL ServerVMware, Hyper-V or other HCI/virtualization platformsIP networking, SD-Wan, routers/switch configurationsBackup, replication and DR conceptsPowershell and other scripting languagesCybersecurity and system hardeningAccreditation or certification from a major network supplier such as CiscoAccreditation or certification with Windows Server and SQL ServerPreferred Qualifications:Understanding of, and experience with, Physical Security system integration, including CCTV, Access Control, Intercom, Intrusion or Audio Video management platformsAWS or Azure cloud computing and network environmentsC#, C++ or other modern programming languagesDevops and other advanced system delivery and support automationPhysical Demands:In general, the following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.Must be able to effectively communicate, (ie see, hear, speak and write clearly) in order to communicate with colleagues and/or customers; manual dexterity required for occasional reaching, lifting of light office objects, and operating office equipmentWorking Conditions:In general, the following conditions of the work environment are representative of those that an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.The office is clean, orderly, properly lighted and ventilated.
