Job TitlePrimary responsibilities will be:Consults with clients to gather information about system scope and objectives.Utilizes technical expertise to analyze and evaluate user business problems and develop system recommendations to meet requirements.Elicits, analyzes, specifies and validates user requirements and develops detailed requirements specifications such as conceptual diagrams, process flows, data models, prototypes, user interface designs, user stories, screen layouts, report layouts.Supports the development life cycle, working with developers and the client.Develops application testing scenarios and assist with system and functional testing.Prepares user documentation and provides product demonstrations and end-user training.Functional support and customer/user liaison for web based applications.Evaluates, implements, customizes and supports COTS packages as needed.Utilizes Agile methodology for building new systems/applications.Basic Skills RequiredMinimum 5 years experience as a Systems Analyst.Knowledge and experience formally gathering and documenting requirements.Experience with full project development life cycle and use of software engineering methodologies.Strong leadership, written and verbal communication skills.Proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, VISIO).Ability to work in a team environment and learn quickly.Must be a US Citizen in order to obtain a clearance.Ability to develop a work plan and report progress and status in a timely and effective manner.Desired Skills RequiredExperience leading projects.Experience with data models and SQL.Familiar with lifecycle SDLC tools.Education and Experience RequiredBachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
