The Systems Analyst should have a background in system engineering as well as strong business analysis background and experience. Job Duties:Collaborate with department managers to ensure smooth and reliable operation of Microsoft Navision, IBM Cognos and EDI systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes; design and deploy new applications and enhancements to these systemsWork with executive team members, decision makers, and stakeholders to define business requirements and systems goals, and to identify and resolve business systems issues.Perform research to develop detailed selection evaluation criteria based on identified IT product requirements and cost-benefit/ROI analysis for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisionsDevelop and implement strategies for improving or further leveraging these systemsDesign and perform systems and security audits, systems backup procedures, and other recovery processes in accordance with the division's disaster recovery and business continuity strategiesCreate and maintain documentation as it relates to systems configuration, mappings, processes, procedures, and service recordsEnsure compatibility and interoperability of in-house computing systemsCoordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systemsRequirementsBachelor degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related degree5+ years of experience working in Information Technology5+ years of Microsoft SQL Server Programming3+ years programming Visual Studio 2008 or laterExperience with.NET development using version 2.0 or laterExperience with Cognos 9.x or higher preferredSalary range is $83,000-90,000 + competitive benefits package.
