This role supports the US Navy (NAVAIR) Regional Multi-domain Awareness Capability (RMAC) program. We are seeking a dynamic individual that aids in the installation of sensor systems both in CONUS locations and OCONUS locations and exhibits an inquisitive nature towards troubleshooting RF systems operations and maintenance. This individual will be involved in the build-up and testing of systems and system of systems (SoS) in the test lab prior to installing these systems out in the field.Must Be a US CitizenEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDuties include, but not limited to:Assist in the testing and build-up of systems and System of Systems (SoS) and shipment of these systemsAssist in installation of Automatic Identification System (AIS) receivers and antennas, radars, Automatic Dependent Surveillance – Broadcast (ADS-B) receivers and antennas, security cameras, surveillance cameras, VHF/HF communications sets, microwave communications systems, satellite communications systems, etc.Supports the installation of domain awareness systems that include workstations, servers, and monitors, generator sets, renewable energy systems, routers, networks, encryption solutions, cross domain solutions, etc.Assist installation of sensor systems requires conducting work on towers and buildings and could involve the use of heavy equipment for site preparation.Assist in the development and continuity of deliverable documents to the Government customerRequirementsMinimum RequirementsKnowledge and SkillsMust have basic understanding of computer systems and network administration.Must have a general understanding and the ability to install/troubleshoot some of the following types of systems: VHF/HF communications systems, video systems, radars, AIS, ADS-B, and microwave communications systems and satellite communication systems.Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office products, to include Excel, Project and Visio, to develop system architectures.EducationCurrently seeking or new graduate of a 4 year Engineering ProgramDesiredBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other technical degreeIT certifications such as Comp TIA, Security +, CCNA,Secret clearanceOther QualificationsMust be Eligible to Obtain a DoD security clearanceMust be a US citizenMust be able to obtain a U.S.

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $63750 to $ (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
