AV & Telehealth Systems Administrator

Job Summary
The AV & Telehealth Systems Administrator is responsible for maintaining and
supporting audiovisual, telehealth, and clinical display technologies used
throughout the health system. These technologies support clinical consultations,
patient monitoring, patient education, and organizational collaboration.
This role ensures systems and equipment remain operational, properly
maintained, and ready for use by clinical and administrative staff.
Responsibilities include system monitoring, routine maintenance,
troubleshooting equipment issues, and coordinating with internal IT teams and
vendors to resolve technical problems
Duties & Responsibilities
System Maintenance & Operational Readiness
• Maintain audiovisual, telehealth, and clinical display systems across hospital
and clinic locations.
• Ensure supported equipment and systems remain operational and available
for use.
• Perform routine system checks to verify functionality and operational
readiness.
• Identify and resolve issues before they impact clinical operations.
AV System Support
• Maintain conference room audiovisual equipment including displays,
cameras, microphones, and audio systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware and connectivity issues affecting conference room
technology.
• Assist with equipment setup, replacement, and configuration when
necessary.
Telehealth Equipment Support
• Maintain telemedicine carts and related equipment used for remote clinical

consultations.
• Troubleshoot audio, video, and device connectivity issues affecting
telehealth sessions.
• Assist clinical staff with equipment issues impacting telehealth workflows.
Digital Signage & Patient Display Systems
• Maintain Moxie digital signage systems, including PCs and display hardware.
• Support CARE Channel devices and patient television systems used for
patient education and information.
• Troubleshoot device failures, connectivity issues, and display problems.
Equipment Monitoring & Preventive Maintenance
• Perform scheduled daily, weekly, and monthly equipment checks.
• Verify system connectivity, device status, and hardware functionality.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and equipment replacement when
necessary.
Incident Response & Troubleshooting
• Respond to service requests related to AV systems, telehealth equipment,
and display technologies.
• Diagnose hardware and connectivity issues affecting supported systems.
• Escalate complex issues to vendors or internal IT teams when necessary.
Vendor Coordination
• Work with vendors to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Assist with return merchandise authorization (RMA) processes for equipment
replacement.
• Coordinate vendor support for system repairs or replacements.
Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain records of system issues, repairs, and equipment status.
• Follow operational procedures and maintenance workflows.
• Update internal documentation as systems and processes change.
