Systems Administrator, InstallationThe Systems Administrator, Installation is expected to be able to accomplish the following:Monitors and manages system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency.Performs systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts.Other duties may include setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space.Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.May be assigned responsibility for less experienced staff.Required qualifications include:Active TS/SCI + CI Poly clearanceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).Minimum 5–8 years of experience in systems administration within enterprise environments.Experience supporting multi-user systems in Windows and/or Linux server environments.Experience operating within DoD or Intelligence Community environments.One of the following DoD 8570/SP-SYS-002 certifications: Security+ (CE), SSCP, CySA+, GSEC, CNDOne of the following environment certifications: Microsoft Windows Server certification (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate), Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), Linux+ (CompTIA), VMware VCPDesired qualifications include:Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid AdministratorVMware VCP-DCVAWS Sys Ops AdministratorOverviewWe are seeking a Systems Administrator, Installation to join our Task Order proposal on the Defense Intelligence Agency's Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise III (SITE III).
