Key responsibilities include:Development, support, and maintenance of the IICS platformDesign, development and implementation of automation innovationsDevelopment of automated infrastructure testing scriptsBuilding and nurturing relationships with developer and system administration communitiesContribution to all phases of the application lifecycle – requirements, development, testing, implementation, and support.Responding and providing mentorship to customers of the ETL/ELT platformsDefining and implementing integration points with existing technology systemsInteracting with and participating in open-source software communitiesResearching and remaining current on ETL/ELT technology and industry trends and innovationsParticipating in a 24 x 7 hour on-call support rotationEducation and ExperienceB.S. Computer Science or equivalent3+ years experience with Azure or AWS5+ years application development or systems administration experience5+ years of development experience in one or more of the following languages: Java, C++, Perl, PythonExperience deploying or managing open-source softwareSolid experience with any Linux distribution10+ year experience with Informatica Powercenter2+ year experience with Informatica IICSDatabase administration experience a plusSkills and KnowledgeHands on working experience with IICS, Talend or other ETL/ELT technologies!Solid background in Linux/Unix AdministrationSolid background in Windows AdministrationHands on working experience with Containers and KubernetesAgile Scrum or Kanban experience – Working experience within an agile teamGlobal team experienceExperience with automation/configuration management using Ansible or an equivalentProgramming in CI/CD technologies requiredKnowledge crafting scalable distributed systemsAwareness of both current and developing technologies
