Systems AdministratorAnalyze infrastructure requirements in terms of hardware and software. Install, maintain, and administer computer networks and related computing environments including physical and virtual servers, systems software, applications software, and all configurations. Install, configure, and maintain applications. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and replace defective components. Travel/relocate to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. for long and short term assignments at client sites.Jobs located in Farmington Hills, MI and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.Performs technical installations, upgrades, configuration, and repair of all managed systems devices. Responsible for "housekeeping" of high-availability 24/7 data center locations across the globe.

Utilizes experience and knowledge to improve the existing processes and team operating procedures. Performs maintenance functions to support major production infrastructure systems, including installation and troubleshooting of new Linux based operating systems, advanced Linux systems administration, advanced BIOS and firmware patching and configuration of new devices. Installation of patches and troubleshooting, creating and modifying application related objects, creating Profiles, Users, Roles and maintaining system security. Implements operational initiatives and projects intended either to increase the efficiency and scalability of a rapidly growing infrastructure or that provide significant business value. Maintains product service level agreements and standards of multiple major production system subcomponents through proactive and reactive means. Working with initializing the servers to make sure the old server is brought down properly and ensure the proper server is being installed and it is brought up. Run test and upgrades to make sure the new server is prepared to work by open of business every next day.

Responsible for checking middleware, deploying patches, reviewing/editing/modifying scripts as per the company's procedure. Technical Environment – RHEL 5.x/6.x/7.x, HPUX, VMware ESXi 5.x/6, AnsibleVarious unanticipated work locations throughout the United States; relocation may be required. Must be willing to relocate.Create AWS Cloud Formation stack for automated infrastructure creation and management. Configure Docker containers and create Docker files for environments and deployment in ECS services/ECR repositories in AWS. Perform AWS Administration including building, monitoring, provisioning, managing servers, scaling and implementing AWS services. Perform source control with GIT/SVN and its workflow management using automation such as Jenkins for applications. Automate infrastructure related manual work using scripting languages such as Shell Scripting and Python.

Design and develop Jenkins build deployments. Use JIRA for change control and ticketing. Develop and implement software release management strategies for applications according to agile process. Implement monitoring of applications using Dynatrace APM to create plans for improvement in site performance, identifying issues and scalability.Various unanticipated work locations throughout the United States; relocation may be required. Must be willing to relocate.Implement, configure, administer, monitor and troubleshoot systems, domains and servers; confer with users about solving system problems; maintain and administer computer networks and environments; install and configure application servers; configure JDBC connection pools, JMS queues, topics and connection factories; create clustered domains to maintain load balancing and high availability; design automation processes; install hardware and software; write scripts to handle automation, deployment and administration; configure node manager; execute database queries; performance tune and optimize servers; perform API testing and work with testing team to test applications, develop test cases and test defects; perform disaster recovery, backup and recovery procedures; restore RMAN backups in case of failovers; document installation procedure for application servers; and use: HP9000, Dell Servers, Linux, Unix, SQL Server, Oracle, IIS, OHS Server, WebLogic, Websphere, JBoss, SQL Developer, OEM, RMAN, MongoDB, ADF, Bugzilla, Rally, VMware, Java, J2EE, Shell Scripting and related tools.Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree); Two (2) years of experience as a Systems Engineer, Network/Systems Administrator, Network Architect, or in a related occupation; Experience must include two (2) years of work with OEM, RMAN, MongoDB, ADF and VMware; must be willing to relocate.
