Systems AdministratorThe Systems Administrator will provide systems and infrastructure administration, both externally and internally, according to various project requirements. Generally, technologies will involve Windows Server technologies, virtualization (primarily VMware), storage/SAN systems, hyper-converged infrastructure, Cisco UCS, Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, certificates/PKI, etc. Projects may be short-term or long-term.
Some operational transition and supporting the escalation of incidents will also be involved.Requirements/QualificationsExpertise in designing and supporting common VMware vSphere architectures.Expertise in designing and supporting common Windows and Active Directory architectures, including ADDS, PKI/ADCS, Group Policy, DNS, etc.Expertise in designing infrastructure systems according to industry and security best practices.Expertise in designing infrastructure solutions to address business requirements and goals.Expertise in troubleshooting common issues in virtualized environments.Ability to communicate effectively with both external and internal customers, using verbal & written methods, including leading in-person and virtual meetings, explaining technical concepts to both executives and technical staff, creating professional documentation and diagrams that convey design concepts clearly and logically, etc.Ability to create and maintain excellent system and security documentation.Ability to mentor other resources and assist when issues are escalated.Work in a collaborative team environment and work on multiple projects concurrently.Ability to develop and maintain a project plan for a project.Ability to follow change management procedures.Methodical approach to project delivery and problem solving.Beneficial ExperienceDesigning Cisco UCS architectures.Experience providing network support (switches, routers, firewalls).Experience working a regulated environment subject to strict compliance requirements.Relevant CertificationsMCSE 2012/2016VCP-DCV 6.xCCNA/CCNP
