Systems Administrator

The Systems Administrator is responsible for maintaining, securing, and supporting the organization's server, cloud, identity, virtualization, and enterprise infrastructure. This role will work across Microsoft and cloud environments to ensure systems remain available, secure, scalable, and properly automated.The ideal candidate combines traditional Windows/Linux systems administration with modern cloud, identity, automation, and infrastructure-as-code skills.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister Windows Server and/or Linux environments.Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise identity services.Administer Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365 environments.Manage virtual infrastructure using VMware or Hyper-V.Support Azure and/or AWS cloud infrastructure.Monitor server health, system performance, capacity, and availability.Manage patching, backups, disaster recovery, and system maintenance.Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.Manage servers, endpoints, permissions, certificates, and service accounts.Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, storage, and network-related issues.Implement security hardening and vulnerability remediation.Maintain technical documentation, diagrams, procedures, and runbooks.Participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and cloud modernization initiatives.
