System Tester/Script WriterThe Georgia Department of Human Services (DHS), Office of Information Technology, is seeking a qualified candidate for the temporary contractor staffing position of System Tester/Script Writer for Georgia SHINES in Atlanta, Georgia.Writes and maintains test scripts based on software requirements and design documentsConfirms function, performance, integration, and acceptance test results are in accordance with application and departmental standardsVerifies that system requirements are traceable, consistent, complete, and testableVerifies that software applications perform in accordance with system requirements and specificationsAnalyze test results and report to the development teamPerforms requirements, design and code walkthroughs/reviews as requestedDevelops test plans, scripts, scenarios, and implementation plans that demonstrate concrete, consistent, and observable resultsMeasures the severity of failures and defects in accordance with test plan guidelinesAccurately and thoroughly documents application performance failures and defects during each quality review sessionClearly and accurately communicates test results to programming staff and/or appropriate management staffRegularly enters issues/defects related to the test life cycle or change control environment into applicable tracking systemConducts testing meetings, as necessary, for problems encountered during the test life cycleQualificationsBachelor’s degree in related field AND Five (5) years of experience in Information Technology testing, quality assurance and the performance of change management functions, three (3) years of which must have been attained in a cross-platform Information Technology development environment.
