To the extent possible, Stangenes will support opportunities for employee professional development.Responsibilities:Work with engineering to develop test plans and schedulesMeasure and record electrical/mechanical test dataInstallation of system components in test cell environmentTroubleshooting and integration, requires understanding of full system functionalityReport failures and system conditions to engineeringWork with assembly team to improve reliability and processesEnter test data into spreadsheets and electronic formats for reviewUnderstand and implement complex electrical/mechanical system test proceduresUse hand and some power tools for assembly/disassembly and prototyping; solder station, wrenches, ratchets, screwdrivers, drills, etc.Develop and document procedures and test practicesWill occasionally work with customers and sub-contractors to integrate outside systems or parts into systemsFollow safe working practices in manufacturing work environmentQualifications:BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experienceMinimum of 7 years experience in electronics or electro-mechanical workAbility to read and understand component datasheets and electronic schematicsExperience using electronic test equipment; Oscilloscope, DMM, Hi-Potential supplies, power analysis meters, etc.Ability to read and understand assembly documentation and adhere to assembly proceduresExperience using hand and some power tools including but not limited to solder iron, wrenches, ratchets, screwdrivers, drills, etc.Ability to frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 poundsWillingness to research and learn technology that may not be familiarAbility to effectively interact with employees of all levels to identify and resolve technical issuesAbility to read, speak and legibly write in the English languageInteract with employees, vendors, customers and visitors in a professional mannerAbility and willingness to travel internationally for customer installs and on-site repair when neededStangenes Industries, Inc. is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
