Join our System Silicon EPM team, where you'll be at the center of the definition and integration effort behind the chips that make iPhone possible.DescriptionAs an iPhone System Silicon EPM, you will use your EE background and program management skills to coordinate the definition and integration of custom silicon for iPhone. You will ensure proposed silicon receives the right scrutiny from product architects, that system integration and validation goals are achieved, and that all product-level risks are communicated effectively.
Together with the broader iPhone System EPM team, you'll continue to build upon and contribute to the exceptional Apple product development process — helping to deliver amazing consumer products and experiences!ResponsibilitiesLead system-focused process for definition of new silicon, including architecture reviews design reviews, technical justifications, and specification sign-offsCoordinate new silicon intercepts against product roadmaps and communicate impacts to cross-functional stakeholdersTrack validation and qualification coverage across silicon development milestonesIdentify, communicate, and drive resolution of product-impacting issues throughout the silicon development lifecycle escalating as necessaryMaintain and publish regular status updates on all new silicon for NPI and product roadmapMinimum QualificationsBS in Electrical Engineering3+ years of industry experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsTechnical background with a sound understanding of silicon development processesExperience building program and project schedules in a hardware/silicon development environmentPreferred QualificationsMS in Electrical Engineering5+ years of industry experienceBackground in consumer electronicsPay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,500 and $311,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
