Support Manager RoleThis Support role's responsibilities would include responding to incidents, handling installs of new software, automation, system upgrades, maintenance of CLIENT.Manager is looking for good background in Linux/Unix, Udeploy, Splunk and AWS.Must have skills:Linux/UnixUdeploySplunkAWSNice to Have: If the candidate does not have Udeploy, but has a tradeoff, such as Jenkins that could work.Job Description:The Expertise You Have:Experience managing technology environment stability and availability.Experience with DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices and principles.Knowledge of basic networking (ping, traceroute, DNS)Experience with search and analytics engines (Splunk)Experience with Linux/UNIX operating systemsExperience with CI/CD pipelines and associated technologiesProduction support experience with financial systemsExperience with Agile development methodology is a plus.Experience and/or certification with Amazon Web Services is a plus.The Skills You Bring:Positive relationship management and facilitation skillsAbility to provide and lead 24x7 Level 3 support activities for the production environmentsStrong problem solving and troubleshooting skillsUnderstanding of financial services industry a plusGood communication (written and verbal) and social skills, including facing off to senior leaders in the business and technology organizationsScripting knowledge (i.e. Perl, Shell, Python)Familiarity with uDeploy and SplunkThe Team:The PI-Web production support team is globally distributed primarily in NH, NC, and India. They are the primary oncall group responding to application and infrastructure incidents which comprise fidelity.com.

PI-Web has a strong automation culture and has an attitude of “never manually do something twice”.
