Network AdminThis position involves the identification, analysis, and documentation of requirements for network LAN technologies and services.

The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders in agile-inspired sprint teams. The successful candidate will create, document, and deploy designs that conform to architectural and security standards, and provide Level 3 support to meet service restoration and network availability objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform identification, analysis, and documentation of requirements for network LAN technologies and services based on customer goals.Collaborate with stakeholders such as Transport, MAN/WAN, and Project Managers in agile sprint teams.Utilize work intake processes, manage backlog, and execute requests in coordination with IT Business Partners.Create and document designs that conform to architectural and security standards using design templates.Prepare, deploy, and coordinate the installation of complex implementation packages according to standards.Provide Level 3 Incident/Problem Management support for preventative, proactive, and reactive maintenance.Support and participate in component research to provide input for evaluation.Participate in tactical multi-technology insertion projects using established project management methodologies.Exercise critical thinking and innovative problem-solving.Required QualificationsExperience: 2+ years of experience with Cisco routers and switches, including IOS implementations. 2+ years of experience with the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN). 2+ years of experience utilizing TCP/IP network protocols.Technical Skills: A Security+ or equivalent IATII certification is required.Other: A secret security clearance is required. The ability to support after-hours change windows and implementations is necessary. Willingness to cover on-call shifts, including weekends and after hours, is expected.Compensation & BenefitsThis employer is an equal opportunity employer.
