System Manager - Him-Medical RecordsSouthwest Healthcare is seeking a System Manager - HIM-Medical Records who collaborates with staff across the region. Duties include but are not limited to participating in emergency preparedness drills, demonstrating understanding of his/her role in the event of an emergency or disaster, facilitating departmental and hospital educational activities and inservices in conjunction with the Education Department, responsible for development, review and revision of departmental written policies and procedures, ensuring that the department has equipment, supplies necessary to provide consistent quality and service delivery, reporting any unsafe situations or safety hazards immediately, labeling and removing any malfunctioning equipment from service and notifying Office Manager and/or Plant Ops.Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University in Health Information Management required, Master's degree from an accredited College or University in Health Information Management preferred, five to seven years of experience in Health Information Management with emphasis on training, quality and record management required, minimum three years leadership experience in Health Information Management required, acute care experience preferred, Current Registered Health Information Administrator Certificate (RHIA) or a current Registered Health Information Technician Certificate (RHIT) required, both are accredited by the American Health Information Management Association, must have valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation.
