Job Description: Senior Systems Engineer
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Tucson, AZ
Payrate: $60/hr. on W2
This is an onsite position for a motivated, hands‑on Senior Systems Engineer who has experience with electro‑mechanical devices.
The work hours for this role are 9:00am-5:00pm, but that is flexible and can be discussed with the RRP after the candidate is selected.
General responsibilities include design concept generation, participating in design reviews, development and testing to assess performance against design specification; reliability testing, and assessment of system interactions.
Assists in developing manufacturing processes and troubleshooting issues to determine root causes and possible engineering solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Test Method Development, DoE, data analysis (python coding capability)
* Digital outputs of a sensor and analyze the data
* Executing hands‑on testing protocols
* Authoring detailed technical reports.
* Managing the defect lifecycle (collection, documentation, and summarization for our development partner).
MUST HAVE Skills:
* Risk and requirement management
* Demonstrated experience with complex systems.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
* Degree: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Chemical, Biomedical, or Software preferred)
* Years of Experience: 8 yrs
Experience in an FDA or FAA-regulated environment is a strong plus; the medical device industry is ideal. #J-18808-Ljbffr
