Hybrid | Charlotte, NC |Video Management System Administrator
Optomi is partnering with a leading energy provider seeking an experienced Video Management System Administrator to support enterprise-wide physical security infrastructure. This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong hands-on Avigilon ACC experience, enterprise systems administration skills, and a background supporting IP video surveillance technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy, configure, and administer Avigilon ACC 7/8 video management systems, NVR servers, and IP cameras.
- Monitor system performance, manage video storage, and troubleshoot camera, server, and network connectivity issues.
- Configure video analytics, recording rules, alarms, and security integrations.
- Manage Active Directory integrations, user permissions, system upgrades, and security compliance.
- Collaborate with IT, Security Operations, and vendors to maintain reliable enterprise security systems.
Required Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience administering Avigilon ACC 7/8 and supporting Avigilon or Axis IP cameras.
- Strong Windows administration experience, including Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and remote desktop support.
- Understanding of TCP/IP networking, VLANs, firewalls, and IP video technologies.
- Experience supporting enterprise VMS infrastructure, NVR storage, and system troubleshooting.
- Strong documentation skills and experience working in large corporate environments.

- Strong technical problem-solver who can independently diagnose complex infrastructure issues.

- Charlotte, NC
- Hybrid: Onsite Tuesday–Thursday, remote Monday and Friday.
