Define and manage system-level requirements, interfaces, and functional architectures. Collaborate cross-functionally with teams in mechanical, electrical, software, and controls to ensure system coherence. Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and platforms for optimal system performance and reliability. Drive integration, validation, and verification activities throughout the product development lifecycle. Perform trade-off analysis, risk assessment, and mitigation planning. Support system-level issue investigation and resolution in prototype and production stages. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal engineering processes. Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and system designers.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering, or a related field. 10 years of experience in system architecture or systems engineering in heavy equipment, automotive, agricultural machinery, or similar industries. Strong knowledge of product development lifecycle (V-model or similar).
Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools. Familiarity with CAN protocols, electronic control units (ECUs), and embedded system architecture. Proven ability to lead system-level design and manage cross-functional engineering teams. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
