Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and four (4) to ten (10) years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Operational experience with Linux-based operating systems, web and database servers, storage and network components and concepts
- Security best practices and techniques, including patch management, encryption, network and systems hardening and segmentation, defense in depth
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Operational experience troubleshooting and managing complex production environments
- Operational experience with the following tools and technologies:
- Configuration Management Solutions (Puppet/Ansible/Chef)
- Infrastructure Virtualization Platforms (VSphere/KVM/OpenStack/ VirtualBox)
- Apache / Nginx Web Servers
- MariaDB / MySQL Database Servers
- Shell scripting: bash / Perl / Python or equivalents
- Office Applications and Ticket Systems
Preferred Skills and Technologies
- DevOps toolchain and concepts, particularly configuration and monitoring
- Container Technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Message Bus Technologies (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
- Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch/Logstash/Kibana)

- Version control (Git)
- Secrets Management
