System EngineerANG SIGNAL has an opening for a System Engineer to join our team supporting the federal government in Boulder, CO. The ideal applicant will perform engineering work in the research, development, analysis, and design of Windows products and systems. This work requires the highest degree of creative ability, engineering and programming skills, and independent judgment. ANG SIGNAL offers a competitive benefits package including paid time off, paid holidays; medical, dental, vision and prescription drug coverage plans; matching 401K plan and tuition/training reimbursement.Primary ResponsibilitiesInstall Windows systems and maintain optimal operation and functionality of all systems/servicesContinually upgrade system hardware and software as neededDevelop and update system documentation on a continuous basisProvide the design, configuration, installation, maintenance, management and upgrade of Windows, and Apple hardware and software systems and associated peripheralsImplement new and/or maintain existing required security policies for all systems/servicesManage web proxy/WAF infrastructureManage continuous vulnerability scanning on all Windows systems and mitigate vulnerabilities as required by security policiesManage and monitor system backups on a continuous basisPerform file restores and onsite/offsite local tape management and inventory checksDiagnose and refer system problems after oral or written notification by system usersQualificationsBS/BA is requiredBachelor's Degree in a related field is desirable8+ years of experience managing and supporting complex Windows environmentsMicrosoft expert level certification is requiredVery good communicator: written, verbal, emailsAble to multi-task and set prioritiesDetail oriented, well-organized with the ability to work with a team or independently under minimal supervisionApplicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Compensation: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
