Air Operations Center (Client) System Engineer – Langley AFB – Hampton, VADatum Technologies Group Government Solutions (Client) team is currently looking to hire an experienced System Engineer. We are looking for a highly motivated, energetic, self-starter to join our team as a System Engineer supporting a United States Air Force (AF) Client customer. The candidate will conduct a full range of system engineering services related to IT system upgrades.Duties & Responsibilities:Develop and manage project artifacts such as bill of materials, assist in the creation of project schedules, and technical diagrams such as network topologies, hardware/software inventories, or rack elevations in support of project managementSupport the Change Management business process to include attending Change Review Board (CRB), performing engineering analysis on all change requests, and maintaining configuration managed itemsSupport the resource Advisor with development of five year spend plan, yearly budget, and purchase requestsSupport unit leadership with the validation of new customer requirements and engineering of new technical solutionsMinimum Requirements:3+ years of experience in a management role with hand-on interaction with external vendors and customersProficiency with cloud environments within the last 5 years; Or a minimum of 4 years demonstrated experience with computer networks;Or a minimum of 4 years demonstrated experience administering endpoint systems (client systems, servers, etc.)3+ years system engineering experience in an IT-related fieldCompTIA Security+ certificationHighly desired: VMWare VCP certificationHighly desired: CCNP certificationHighly desired: Microsoft Project and Visio experiencePerform other duties as assigned by the Datum project leadAdditional Information:Active U.S.
citizenship and current TOP SECRET Security Clearance prior to beginning work.
