This hands-on role includes mechanical assembly, basic electrical wiring, system testing, and preparing finished products for shipment.What You'll DoAssemble vacuum systems and components according to engineering specifications and drawings.Perform mechanical assembly tasks, including bolting, drilling, tapping, and fitting components.Complete basic electrical wiring and component connections.Conduct system testing, leak checks, and quality inspections.Utilize electrical testing equipment as required.Ensure products meet quality standards and production schedules.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Participate in safety training and continuous improvement initiatives.To Succeed, You Will NeedRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Technical or vocational degree preferred.Less than one year of experience in mechanical, electromechanical, manufacturing, or assembly-related work.Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in hands-on assembly work.Desired SkillsAbility to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments safely and effectively.Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and work instructions.Basic understanding of electrical wiring and testing procedures.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Comfortable working in a Lean Manufacturing and 6S environment.Basic computer skills are a plus.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 40 pounds.Ability to safely operate overhead and jib cranes.Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.Success in This RoleThe ideal candidate is customer-focused, dependable, flexible, and eager to learn.
