System Architect with Entertainment & Media industry

System ArchitectTelecommunication Entertainment Group is seeking technically savvy System Architect to support multiple ongoing and future projects in a fast paced environment. This position requires strong architecture skills, subject matter expertise in video content delivery, solid knowledge of conditional access and identity management. Awareness of the upcoming trends in the entertainment/media industry especially Personalization and Recommendation domain.Responsibilities:Experience working as architect on deliver personalized user experience, content discovery and recommendations.Experience working with cloud service provider such as Digital Smith, Content Wise and other integrating with their services.Awareness of the upcoming trends in the entertainment / media industry, how to up-sell revenue-generating items and cross-sell other media.Conducting architectural assessments, breakdown of the system into components, the component interactions and interfaces, and the technologies and resources to be used in the design.Determine integrated hardware and software architecture solutions that meet performance, usability, scalability, reliability, and security needs.Develop technical documentation on applications and systems.Facilitate and lead in the evaluation and selection of commercial-off-the-shelf product evaluation, frameworks and open source platformsQualifications:Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Computer Science), Master's degree preferred8+ years relevant experience as a Systems Engineer / Architect working in the Entertainment & Media industryExperience:Experience in entertainment & media industry with delivering video using broadcast & broadband/cellular streaming mechanismExperience in Broadcast/broadband Television, Video-On-Demand, Pay Per ViewExperience working as architect defining the roadmap and strategy for increasing customer engagement via personalization and recommendation of content.Experience in coming up with high-level architectural design and technology roadmapsUnderstanding of latest trends and technologies including mobile based applications preferredExcellent problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills, with strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate without guidanceLeadership qualities, including ability to facilitate technical discussions with diverse and cross-functional groups and good negotiation skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to tailor communication to the target audience to achieve desired results
