Working remotely on a contract basis, the System Administrator - VMware will manage the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of VMware infrastructure and support servers and applications within a high-performance data center environment. Key responsibilities Assist in the deployment, configuration, and management of VMware infrastructure including vSphere vCenter and ESXi hypervisor hosts Perform troubleshooting and maintenance for VMware ESXi hosts and related hardware, including Cisco UCS equipment Implement and routinely test disaster recovery plans while maintaining documentation and responding to outages Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field Experience with VMware Virtualization & Infrastructure Management Knowledge of Cisco UCS & Enterprise Hardware Administration Proficiency in Windows & Linux Server Administration Familiarity with disaster recovery and IT operations (ITSM)
