Seeking a Video Management System Administrator to support and maintain enterprise-scale physical security systems. This role will focus on administering Avigilon ACC infrastructure, including NVR servers, IP cameras, storage systems, analytics, and integrations with other security technologies.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Avigilon ACC 7/8 video management systems, NVR servers, IP cameras, and storage infrastructure.
- Configure cameras, recording rules, alarms, analytics, and system integrations.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot technical issues, and support end users.
- Manage Active Directory integrations, Windows environments, and Microsoft 365 services.
- Support integrations with access control, intercom, PSIM, and SIP/IP audio systems.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity, VLANs, QoS, PoE switches, firewalls, and routing.
- Coordinate vendor support and maintain system configurations, SOPs, and training documentation.
- Follow cybersecurity best practices and evidence management procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience supporting systems in a large corporate enterprise environment.
- Hands-on Avigilon ACC 7/8 administration and Avigilon or Axis IP camera experience.
- Knowledge of VMS, ONVIF, NVRs, storage provisioning, and RAID.
- Windows 11, Active Directory, Remote Desktop, Azure AD, and Microsoft 365 experience.
- Familiarity with SharePoint, Teams, Excel, and Word.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VLANs, QoS, PoE, firewalls, NAT, and routing.
- Knowledge of H.264/H.265 video technologies and enterprise security integrations.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
