System Administrator MasterThe Network and Systems Administrator design, implements, maintains, and supports the organization's servers, network systems, and core IT services, ensuring secure, reliable Windows Server performance aligned with organizational needs and best practices.The Network and Systems Administrator is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of the organization's server infrastructure, network systems, and core IT services. This role focuses heavily on Windows Server administration, system performance, security, and reliability. The administrator ensures that all systems operate efficiently, securely, and in alignment with organizational needs and industry best practices.ResponsibilitiesWindows Server AdministrationInstall, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022).Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and domain services.Perform server patching, updates, and lifecycle management.Monitor server performance, availability, and capacity planning.Manage virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, or Azure Virtual Machines).Network AdministrationMaintain and troubleshoot LAN/WAN infrastructure, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.Monitor network performance, bandwidth usage, and connectivity issues.Implement and maintain network security controls, including VLANs, VPNs, and access policies.Support IP addressing, routing, and network segmentation.Systems Maintenance & SupportPerform daily system checks, backups, and disaster recovery testing.Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues across servers and endpoints.Maintain documentation for configurations, procedures, and system architecture.Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for escalated issues.Security & ComplianceImplement and maintain security best practices across servers and networks.Manage endpoint protection, patch management, and vulnerability remediation.Support compliance with organizational policies, audits, and regulatory requirements.Monitor logs, alerts, and system events for potential security risks.Cloud & Modern InfrastructureSupport hybrid environments using Azure, Microsoft 365, or other cloud platforms.Manage cloud identity, access, and security configurations.Assist with cloud migrations, modernization projects, and automation initiatives.Collaboration & Project SupportWork closely with IT leadership, application teams, and vendors to support infrastructure needs.Participate in planning and implementing new technologies and system upgrades.Provide recommendations for improving system reliability, performance, and security.· Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience.· 16+ yrs.
