You will lead system performance, network stability, cybersecurity practices, and user support — balancing day-to-day support with longer-term system improvements and strategic IT initiatives.Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:Administering and maintaining servers, endpoints, networks, and cloud-based services to ensure system reliability and production uptimeImplementing system monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery processes in alignment with ISO 9001 operational control and risk-based thinkingEnsuring systems supporting manufacturing, quality, and shipping functions are controlled, available, and recoverablePartnering with external partners, operations, engineering, and quality teams to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement initiativesPlanning and executing system changes in coordination with production schedulesDeveloping, maintaining, and enforcing IT policies, procedures, and work instructionsEnsuring change management practices are followed for system updates and infrastructure changesMaintaining asset inventories, access logs, and system documentation to support traceability and audit readinessEstablishing escalation paths and incident response proceduresCybersecurity & CMMC 2.0 ComplianceCoordinating implementation and maintaining security controls aligned with CMMC 2.0 Level 1 / Level 2 requirements, including access control, identification and authentication, system patching, vulnerability remediation, endpoint protection, and incident detection and responseMaintaining documentation, system inventories, and evidence required for cybersecurity assessmentsCoordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure secure handling of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) where applicableContinuous Improvement & Risk ManagementUsing data, incident trends, and audit findings to drive improvements in system reliability and securityEvaluating emerging risks and recommending mitigation strategiesSupporting business continuity and disaster recovery planningWhat We're Looking ForCompetencies:Technical CapacityProblem SolvingCommunication ProficiencyTeamworkRequired Education & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field — or equivalent experience3–5+ years of progressive IT experience, including systems administrationDemonstrated experience with Windows Server and Active Directory, Microsoft 365 administration, network infrastructure (firewalls, switches, VPNs), and backup, recovery, and system monitoringExperience supporting compliance, audits, or regulated environmentsSupervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position is responsible for the direct supervision and management of all employees within the IT department, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, directing work, performance evaluations, and ongoing coaching and development.Physical RequirementsThis role is primarily office-based. Team members must be able to:Sit, stand, walk, and alternate positions throughout the dayUse hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and climb stairs as neededOccasionally lift office products and supplies up to 20 lbs.Work EnvironmentThis role operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
