Position Title: System Administration IVLocation: Newport, RIClearance required: SECRETScope of Work: Provides senior network system administration and configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, IDS, and cryptographic equipment across classified and unclassified networks.Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):Install, configure, troubleshoot, test, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, content filters, and IDSPerform cryptographic equipment and keying material loading, testing, and troubleshootingManage and operate the Network Operations Center, Secure Network Management Center, and help deskDraft and update network Standard Operating Procedures for Government approvalThis position is designated Key Personnel. Incumbent must be a DoD-Approved Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 3 individual (for example CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP or Associate, GCED, or GCIH).Minimum education, years of experience, and skills in accordance with the NUWCDIVNPT labor category description for this position and level.Senior network administration and network security configuration expertisePersonnel supporting the classified and unclassified network infrastructure must hold the certifications required to support the systems in accordance with SECNAV M-5239.2Must hold a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CCNP, CompTIA Linux+, and Intrusion Detection and Intrusion Protection training
