System AdminLocation: Austin, TX (Onsite)Duration: 6+ MonthsJob Description:Monitoring (24/7): Monitoring infrastructure servers and network devices uptime and server metrics for all the locations using Logic Monitoring and NAGIOS tools.Utilize a suite of tools to monitor and manage all core network and system/platform infrastructure environments.Email Processing: Team has to respond for all type of alerts from monitoring tool, back up servers, service desk and ticketing tools.Perform initial triage and troubleshooting steps by following SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) to determine root cause of alerts generated.Track and document all issues and resolutions in detail within the ticketing system.Provide notification to senior management and stakeholders for all impacting or potentially impacting issues.Windows / Linux system administration experience is preferred.Knowledge on IT infrastructure such network, switch, router, DNS, DHCP and AD.Capable of managing complex technical issues and communicating status to clients.Flexible person with the ability to manage stressful situations and adapt to rapidly changing environments and requirements.Ability to thrive in a fast paced, multi-cultural, customer-oriented environment.Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as required; 24x7 support.Exceptional documentation and communication skills.
