Paraprofessional/Early Year Program
Location: Red Clay Early Years Program, Location TBD
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Assist in carrying out the Individualized Education program for students
Duties will include:
- Developmental instruction for preschool
- Assist teachers in classroom activities and recording student data
- Implement behavior support plans, participate in team meetings
- Operation and data input on assistive technology devices
- Collection of academic and behavioral data
- Lifting up to 75 lbs., ability to bend, and kneel for positioning of students for mobility purposes, diapering, and physical education activities
Qualification:
1. Completion of two years of higher education; or
2. Completion of an Associates Degree; or
3. High School Diploma/GED and ParaPro Assessment Test
