The 1930's hotel is a Historic Hotel of America and a AAA Four-Diamond Award winner.This position is responsible for responding to all internal and external calls received through The Hotel Hershey's main switchboard.As a Part-Time Team Member, you will enjoy sweet perks like FREE admission and parking to Hersheypark, discounts on food & shopping, and more as soon as you receive your Employee ID!Job Duties:Transferring calls to the appropriate destinationAccepting requests for and placing wake-up calls at the designated timesAccepting and delivering accurate messagesMonitoring the heat/smoke detector panelActivating emergency response procedures when necessaryMonitoring two-way radio communication with security/engineering and guest service teamsHandling and following up on evening calls for the Housekeeping DepartmentEmploying the paging system to locate staffPerforming other duties as assignedQualifications:Must be at least 18 years of age.A minimum of 1 year of experience working in customer service.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Demonstrated courtesy, clarity of speech, and good judgment.Proven employee/guest relations, communication, problem solving, and organization skills.Basic keyboarding skills and ability to type 35 wpm.Ability to work with minimal supervision.Professional image representative of property image.Job Demands:This is a part-time year round position.
