The Swim School Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the swim school’s operations to ensure a safe, effective, and enjoyable learning environment for students of all ages and skill levels. This role involves developing and implementing swim programs that meet the needs of the community while maintaining high standards of instruction and safety. The director will lead, train, and manage a team of swim instructors and support staff, fostering a positive and professional culture. Additionally, the Swim School Director will handle administrative duties such as scheduling, and marketing to drive enrollment and maintain financial health. Minimum Qualifications:
- Current certification in CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard Training.
- Proven experience in swim instruction and program management, preferably in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of water safety standards and swim teaching methodologies.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification from a recognized swim instructor organization such as the American Red Cross or YMCA.
- Experience with budgeting and financial management in a recreational or educational setting.
- Background in marketing or community outreach to support program growth.
- Familiarity with facility maintenance and safety compliance standards.
- Advanced leadership training or certifications.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve swim lesson programs tailored to various age groups and skill levels.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate swim instructors and support staff to ensure high-quality instruction and adherence to safety protocols.
