Assist with group swim lessons for participants of all ages and abilities following the American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim program curriculum.
Essential Functions:
- Assist Group Swim Instructor in lesson plan preparation for group swim lessons.
- Gather, stage, and return necessary equipment.
- Assist participants with skills practice.
- Maintain a safe and inviting learning environment.
- Communicate with participants and parents/guardians of participants before and/or after swim lessons, the information to be covered, any areas of excellence or needed improvement, and plans for the next swim lesson.
- Distribute Program Feedback forms to participants or parents/guardians at the end of sessions.
- Positively interact with and provide exceptional customer service to the general public.
