The ideal candidate is a passionate and experienced in leading teams building SaaS based consumer solutions ideally with Ruby, Go, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS.If you love building cutting edge technology, are deeply technical, and want to have some fun while you work, we want to talk to you.ResponsibilitiesManagement and execution against project plans and delivery commitments; Manage the day-to-day activities of the engineering team within an Agile/Scrum environmentManagement of departmental resources, staffing, mentoring, and enhancing and maintaining a best-of-class engineering teamWork closely with the Product Management and engineers to architect and develop the best technical design and approachDevelop and review code with an eye for quality, efficiency, and stability for all aspects of the front-end and back-end web application technology stack with a strong interest in back-end applicationsHelp plan and manage complex projects in a dynamic environment and communicate status.RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.Must have successfully lead and managed developers for 3 - 5 years; preferably in developing Cloud applications following Agile methodologies.Expertise in back-end/full stack development with one or more of the following: Ruby, GoLang, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS expertise desirable.Familiarity with Unix-based systems and terminal commands, esp.
