Job Overview
SVP, Social Analytics is an innovative role that combines deep social experience and analytics rigor. This role is an entrepreneurial opportunity to help define analytics for the revival of the 360i agency brand. It focuses on creating best practices for social analytics, setting the agency outlook on social measurement, and honing our approach to connecting paid, organic, creator, and commerce measurement across all social platforms. The role partners with internal and external stakeholders to influence product creation, beta and alpha opportunities, and thought leadership.
Position reports to Marketing Effectiveness leadership with a dotted line into the head of Next Gen Social. Location is open to remote candidates.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Social leadership and Marketing Effectiveness to create a simplified, scalable, and repeatable measurement approach for all social channels.
- Consult with client teams on social measurement best practices, test design, and partner capabilities.
- Partner with external social partners to bring alpha and beta opportunities to client teams.
- Collaborate with capability and partnership leadership to identify and evaluate social and creator measurement solutions to enable Next Gen Social.
- Ensure Social and Marketing Effectiveness teams are aware of social partner measurement changes and the potential implications.
- Identify and develop product‑specific analytics offerings for specific clients.
- Author white papers, POVs, and other industry thought capital; attend and speak at conferences.
- Evaluate and partner with external vendors and technologies as appropriate.
- Evaluate prospective technologies and companies for partnership or corporate acquisition.
- Advise the agency about key industry trends and innovations.
- Exhibit strong analytical, project management, storytelling, and communication skills.
- Partner with new business to identify growth opportunities and enable development for existing clients.
- Recruit and manage management‑level roles within the group; develop managers.
- Set vision and strategy, facilitate team operations to deliver quality and timely deliverables.
- Lead local and national department initiatives, elevate the work, provide training, knowledge sharing, and best practices.
- Empower direct reports to own their client relationships and projects.
- Manage performance and career growth of direct reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science or related quantitative field.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- 15+ years in a quantitative business environment.
- 8+ years in marketing analytics with knowledge of social and the media planning process.
- Experience with all social platforms and their attribution approaches (Meta, TikTok, Reddit, YouTube, Pinterest, and Snap).
- Exposure to mobile, social, and tablet measurement approaches, and understanding the role of attribution and paths to conversion.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex findings in simple terms.
- Strong organizational skills, political instincts, and proven leadership ability.
- Experience in data visualization (Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Datorama).
- Demonstrates understanding of media planning and buying with a focus on media measurement and digital tracking including limitations and advantages.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, or R.
- Advanced media measurement capabilities (e.g., MMM, MTA), and planning A/B and Match Market testing.
Salary & Benefits
Annual base salary range: $163,000 – $280,000. Placement within the range is based on relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law. This position is also eligible for discretionary incentive compensation.
